Dr. Mengbo Liu is currently an Associate Professor in the College of Transportation of Tongji University. He earned his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in Civil Engineering from College of Civil Engineering at Tongji University. From April 2022 to March 2025, he served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in College of Transportation at Tongji University. His research focuses on the intelligent construction and maintenance of rail infrastructure. Dr. Liu has published over 30 peer-reviewed journal papers indexed by SCI/EI and served as a reviewer for more than 10 journals. He has also received numerous awards, including the Innovation Award from China Association of Inventions, Science and Technology Progress Award from China Communications and Transportation Association, among others.
